A Study of the Factors Which Affect Decisions to Undergo Palliative Chemotherapy in Patients
With Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

This is an in-depth qualitative, multi-centre research study which addresses the need for greater understanding of how best the clinician and other health professionals can be responsive to individual patients wishes and needs.  It will provide health professionals with a detailed understanding of the factors which influence the decisions patients take and will provide strategies for enhancing the involvement of patients in decisions about their own care.
