15 August 2014 at 10:58
Would you like to know more about what your local NHS trust is achieving and its plans for health care in north Sefton and West Lancashire?

The annual general meeting of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust on Thursday 11th September at 6pm will give local people just that chance.
It will include an opportunity to hear how Trust staff are helping give more care closer to home and nearer to where people spend their day-to-day lives.

Consultant physician Dr Paddy McDonald and A&E consultant Dr Dave Snow will explain how their work with NHS colleagues, GPs, social services and other professionals is improving the care patients receive.

Members of the public will also have the opportunity to ask questions of Board members including Chief Executive Jonathan Parry and Sir Ron Watson CBE who will be chairing his final AGM as Trust chair.

The meeting will be held in the lecture theatre of the Education Centre at Ormskirk and District General Hospital. Light refreshments will be available from 5.30pm.
