To protect patients, staff and the community, Southport and Ormskirk hospitals stopped patient visiting from March 26. The decision followed the Government Covid-19 advice restricting social contact and unnecessary travel.
Families and friends of patients are now asked not to visit hospital other than by arrangement. Visits will be permitted in exceptional circumstances on an individual basis which will be agreed with the nurse in charge of the ward.
Separate arrangements will apply to the following areas:
If you are patient with special needs (e.g. you have a visual impairment), please call the ward for advice and guidance
Our patient information and communications service will help patients and loved ones keep in touch until visiting returns to normal.
