Right Arrow Vascular services in Cheshire and Merseyside are changing
27 January 2011 at 10:55

The local NHS needs to reorganise the way in which vascular surgery is delivered in order to improve patient care and safety as well as the quality of the services our hospitals provide.

We aim to reduce the number of hospitals providing surgery so that we can concentrate clinical expertise on a smaller number of sites. This will improve outcomes for patients.

If you would like to find out more about the changes, and what they might mean for current and future patients, as well as for carers, please have a look at our consultation document. In here you will find background information about the review as well as details about how you can get involved and contribute your views.

You can respond to some key consultation questions on-line by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/s/CMVSR-public. The on-line survey opens on 28th January 2011. When you have completed your response to the survey you will be returned to NHS Knowsley’s website which is hosting the survey on behalf of Cheshire and Merseyside primary care trusts. The survey closes on 18th February 2011.

Alternatively you can come along to our consultation event at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Winwick Road, Warrington, WA2 7NE, between 12.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday 10th February. Registration details are included in the consultation document.
