Right Arrow Press Release - Can we have our equipment back, please? - PR/06/0405
29 April 2004 at 11:32
Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust want you to give them some sticks, crutches, walking frames, helping hands and any other equipment you have borrowed but no longer need.

Jean Axon, Manager of the Physiotherapy Department said, “We are of course always happy to lend equipment to patients who need it to help with their recovery. However, it costs a lot of money, so we ask that when people no longer need the equipment, they think of others who might need it after them and return it to the physiotherapy department. Even if people have had the equipment for some time we ask them to bring it back – no questions asked!”

Patients can return the equipment to the physiotherapy departments at Southport Formby District General Hospital, Town Lane, Kew, Southport or Ormskirk and District General Hospital, Wigan Road, Ormskirk.
